In The Mind's I, viewers are invited into a virtual landscape, meticulously crafted from point clouds generated by an AI trained on photographs of landscapes. More than just digital reproductions, these screen like terrains probe deep into the nature of memory and the ephemeral essence of place. As we journey through, the spaces blur the lines between what was once tangible and the abstract realm of recollection as the places begin to enmesh. These 'ghosts of places' echo subtly, reminding us of fleeting moments and their intangible imprints. They invite us to reflect on the fragility and fluidity of memory, nudging us to question the spaces between our perceived reality and the world of our memories.
